Ter Scott's Song, "Beautiful Beautiful You"

No one knows what a day will bring, that is why I believe life must be lived in the “now” and with urgency; to “redeem” our days. One lesson I’ve learned is that when we write a book, compose a song or even call or text someone to right a wrong, we should “just get it out there” and tweak it later.

Back on March 8^th, I was inspired to write this song. I don’t have a melody yet and when I do the words may be revised a bit. In following this lesson, for now I will publish it here for all to see and hopefully it may bless all who read it.

BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL YOU

You lift my soul with the sunrise

when you make your mercies new,

You hear my voice and bless my choice

in the day’s work I choose to do.

I rise before dawn to seek your song

Beautiful Bentleyville was Written by Ter Scott.

I was complimented today when I popped in a place that I used to work and everyone was singing a song I wrote some time ago titled “Beautiful Bentleyville” so I guess I’m “famous” in small circles. It made my heart glad. They were all singing "... the world's largest tallest lighted Christmas Tree".

From Women Rock to local Assisted Living Facilities, Terry Scott performs Country GOLD Classics.

Recently I sang at the Women Rock in Duluth Minnesota (Saturday November 7th, 2015). I am now filling my 2016 calendar and usually can make time to perform at one (local area; Cloquet, Proctor, Duluth, Hermantown, Two Harbors and Superior WI) assisted living facility a month.

Here is my letter to the event coordinator for any local assisted living facility:

My name is Terry (Ter) Scott, a local who sings Country Western music; it’s just me, my guitar and a small amp which fits with most venues.

Do you have a need for talent? I am filling my schedule for the year 2016 and would love to present a 30 minute (or so) presentation for your residents. I do one such event for assisted living facilities per month and my calendar fills on a first come basis. My services are provided at your usual honorarium fee and events where you are hosting for both residents and the public are given priority. (Please keep my information on hand and contact me during the year with any “special public events” you may have. If I am available, I may be able to adjust my schedule!).
